Dr. Marilyn Mehlmauer is a board-certified dermatologist who focuses her practice on general dermatology, cosmetic surgery, and skin cancer diagnosis and surgery. She is also a board-certified dermatopathologist, which means you can have your biopsy slides read and a diagnosis rendered, all at our state-of-the-art, onsite surgical facility. Selected by her peers in the medical field, Dr. Mehlmauer is listed as a “Top Doctor” in The Essential Guide to Top Doctors and Los Angeles Magazine, and was voted one of the “Best Doctors in America” for 2005-2006.
Dr. Mehlmauer graduated from the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1975, and went on to teach dermatology there for 10 years. She then went into solo practice in Pasadena in 1991, while she was also on staff at Huntington Hospital. Dr. Mehlmauer is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Dermatopathology, and is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Mehlmauer has also extensively researched the use of Targretin® capsules for the treatment of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL).
As director of the Congress Cosmetic Medical Corp., Dr. Mehlmauer enjoys educating patients on the many cosmetic treatments she provides and which options are appropriate for them. Patients benefit from her genuine caring and enthusiasm. Dr. Saghari is a board certified dermatologist with fellowship training in cosmetic dermatology. Upon graduation from Medical School, Dr. Saghari completed a research fellowship in Mohs and laser surgery at University of Miami, followed by a residency in dermatology and cutaneous surgery at University of Miami -Jackson Memorial Hospital. Subsequently, she furthered her training in Miami Beach, with a highly sought after cosmetic dermatology fellowship at University of Miami, the first and largest university-run cosmetic center in the United States. In addition to having edited the second edition of the bestselling textbook "Cosmetic Dermatology : Principles and Practice" by Dr. Leslie Baumann, Dr. Saghari has participated in multiple research trials and authored numerous publications in dermatologic journals.
Helping patients achieve their health and aesthetic goals is Dr. Saghari's first priority. In addition to general dermatology, she has special expertise in cosmetic dermatology. She is experienced in all the latest techniques and technologies of cosmetic dermatology, including Botox treatments, dermal fillers, facial peels and laser procedures.
Dr. Narineh Zohrabian is the newest member of the Congress Cosmetic Medical Dermatology team. She is a native of the Glendale/Pasadena area, and having completed her educational journey and practicing in private practice in Dallas has returned to serve and be a part of the community where she has grown up.
Dr. Zohrabian is a Dermatologist who received her training at the University of California, Irvine Dermatology Residency Program, where she was the Chief Resident. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Zohrabian received her Bachelor of Science degree graduating Cum Laude from UC, Irvine, and then moved on to the Chicago Medical School where she obtained her medical degree graduating with the highest medical school honor of Alpha Omega Alpha. She subsequently completed an internship in medicine at Northwestern University prior to starting her training in Dermatology.
Dr. Zohrabian specializes in medical dermatology, skin cancer detection and treatment, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Zohrabian enjoys combining her medical knowledge with the artistic nature of cosmetic dermatology to provide her patients with safe and effective treatment. She is known for her gentle demeanor and personal care of her patients.
